Do you feel stuck or that you have lost your way? Clear Path will help you reconnect with God and His plans and purposes for your life. Jeremiah 29 tells us that God knows His plans for our life and they are to prosper us and not harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. These ministry sessions are designed to meet you where you are on life's journey, to encourage you, and to restore hope.

Guests will partner with a horse, completing unmounted activities that mirror the biblical principles of love, communication, care, and many others. These skills improve confidence, communication, and awareness of the needs of others. Through working with horses, it is our prayer that God will give you revelation about who He created you to be and to help you heal from things that have hurt you in the past.
​
After prayerful consideration of your goals and needs, you will be paired with a two person team of session leaders that you will work with each week. These are individual sessions. Although you will work with the same team each week, each session will be different and will depend on the leading of the Holy Spirit for you on that day. You and your session leaders will work together to find a schedule that will suit you.

This program is well suited for individual guests who are 15 years old and up and is mostly unmounted.

HEAVENLY
HORSEMANSHIP
The Heavenly Horsemanship Course is designed to teach you the basics of how to safely be around horses and how to care for them with a biblical perspective. Whether you are a family considering purchasing your own horse, you just like horses and want to feel more comfortable and knowledgable around them, or you have a loved one who has a passion for them and you want to learn more - this is for you!

We will get together once a week for 7 weeks for 90 minutes each time. At each meeting, you will learn about topics such as the different breeds and colors of horses, the types of riding, competition, and work that is done with them, safety in their environment (from fencing to stalls), horse health (vitals signs, nutrition, hoof health, overall body condition, recognizing signs of illness or distress), how to groom and tack up, how to properly halter and lead a horse, and how to start, stop, and steer. More important than what and how we take care of horses, we will learn about and discuss why we do things the way we do. God's word gives us beautiful examples of communication, service to one another, stewardship of His creation, and many other ways that we can point our why back to God.
This is NOT a riding course, but you will get the opportunity to ride at least once.

In 2022, Risen Ridge Ministry founder, Jen Beck, completed the training to become certified in Biblically Based Equine Assisted Programs. This 6-week certification course incorporates the principles of Equine Assisted Learning and provides a biblical basis for the activities.
